The Brooke - Santa Run 2008 a galloping success

On Sunday 7th December 2008, Greenwich Park, London, hosted a festive opportunity for supporters of the Brooke to raise money for their favourite charity - by taking part in this year's 5km Santa Run.

In fact, the run proved so alluring that members of Brooke staff eagerly joined them. Donning Santa suits, mounting inflatable donkeys, staff and supporters alike galloped their way to fundraising glory.

Gallantly completing the distance, the dedicated runners raised as much as £4,000 – a huge sum of money which will help us continue to alleviate the suffering of 700,000 working horses, donkeys and mules in some of the poorest parts of the world.
